March First Friday – Water/Ways

Friday, March 2: The public is invited to celebrate the opening of the traveling exhibition, Water/Ways, on loan from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program (on display at the FAM through March 11th). Water/Ways is designed to reach small town museums as part of the Smithsonian’s #ThinkWater project and aims to raise appreciation for water as a vital resource for life, educate citizen and students about critical resource issues, bring people to an understanding about what water means culturally, socially, spiritually, and to their community, and to inspire people to conserve and protect water as an important resource. A complimentary reception will take place on the third floor from 5 – 8 PM.

For more information on this exhibition, please visit Museums on Main Street or contact Sara Poore.
