    December 1 through December 31st • Join us for FAM's third annual Merry Trees exhibit. The third floor Council Chamber gallery will be filled with fifteen trees decorated by the Hugh Mercer Elementary School’s second graders. Each tree is inspired by a book the students have read in the classroom.

    December 2017 • This December, the Museum will display 10 small Christmas trees with different children’s literature themes. Elementary school classes have selected a children’s book, read it in class, and created a theme for their class tree.
